Aganu'u Program

Our aganu’u program started off as a program for our contestants so that we could give them an experience of our culture and then developed into a program for everyone. This allowed our ‘aumaga to learn about ‘ava ceremonies, kids learning the language and girls learning how to palu ‘ava and a whole lot more. 

Covid-19 came and this did not stop the students from learning, we had online classes for our children ran by our elders in the community Taulapapa Jessie Fa'atau & Rusia Filia. As well as the online classes for the adults. 

We have been blessed to have our fa’atamā also our Cultural Director, Lemalu Fa’atau, lead this program and continues to guide us in all cultural practices.
