With all that Adele had endured from a pageant she participated in previously, it was enough to dampen anyone's hopes to participate in Sāmoan National Pageant. However, Adele was so resilient and focused on her faith, she was not going to let this get in her way.
Her journey was the phoenix rising for our Victorian Sāmoan Community. It was here we saw the young, the old, businesses, individuals, and churches, all came together to show love and support to get her to Sāmoa. It was also the beginning of Miss Sāmoa Victoria Incorporated supported by the elders of VICSAC (Victoria Sāmoan Advisory Council) and the great Victorian Community.
